Who doesn’t love it. It is one of the main trends that I see in weddings in the last year or two. And I have to admit, I adore it. Its a classic look that will never age. It gives an edge on the traditional bride and no doubt will make us look back on our wedding photography with absolute delight. Who doesn’t want to feel like a Hollywood superstar on their big day J
Vintage makeup originates back to the 1900’s gradually changing throughout the years but the popular look was still pale, with plenty of blush, lip color and kohl eyeshadow /eyeliner. A good think black liquid ‘tick’ is a must have I think for the vintage look. While elongating the it also gives a sharp clean finish. Firm favourites of my lip colours are MAC’s AMOROUS, RED, RUBYWOO. Bobbi Brown Black Cherry and also love Kate Moss collection for Rimmel shade 107.
We can still bring a modern take on this classic look – paying special attention to giving the face a definite shape with plenty of contouring, being careful where we highlight but still giving the face a healthy looking glow.
I find that to complete the vintage look ladies are often opting for a statement head piece. Stacy Hannan and Jenny Packham have the most beautiful headpieces.
