One of the most Unforgettable Wedding
INFOKUS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY had the pleasure of working with the lovely couple ,Ryan and Sophie for their wedding photography in Horetown House, Wexford, a few weeks ago. Ryan and Sophie were so taken with Ireland that they decided to give their wedding guests an authentic Irish experience. The scintillating beauty of the place captivated them on their first visit, and it did not disappoint. This location is truly one-of-a-kind and ideal for your wedding day. Horetown offers a variety of wedding options, including an outdoor ceremony in the garden surrounded by beautiful trees or a newly constructed white room with plenty of natural light.
Ryan, the most laid-back Groom ever, and Sophie, in turn, made everyone feel at ease throughout the day. They were a laid-back couple who didn’t want to make a fuss and just wanted to enjoy the day and the party at the venue. From beginning to end, they had a casual, seriously casual, meet/first-look in the morning, followed by a few quick family photos to get the formalities out of the way, and the rest was gravy. This wedding was a lot of fun to photograph and a lot of fun to be a part of. Sophie’s wedding dress, hair, and make-up resembled a scene from a Hollywood classic. She nailed the iconic beauty look, and she did so with grace and style.
Their kindness and good humour are contagious, and we knew their wedding day would be unforgettable. They started their lives together in London, but their love for Ireland was unimaginable, so they returned and chose Horetown House in Wexford for their wedding. It was a great pleasure for us to photograph their wedding because every detail was flawless.
Wedding Ceremony at Horetown House
Wedding ceremonies are held in two separate areas at Horetown House, both of which are absolutely stunning. Between 130 and 150 people can be accommodated in the White Room. It’s a photographer’s dream, and you can be sure your ceremony will be stunning.
Ceremony Garden is an outdoor option where Ryan and Sophie had hoped to have an outdoor wedding. We spent the entire morning checking the weather forecast. Even so, Irish luck was on her side, and the sun rose just as the bride walked down the aisle. The Ceremony Garden is a shady spot with wooden benches and straw bales for seating, ideal for a laid-back garden wedding. We take a laid-back and approachable approach to photography. We try to be as unobtrusive as possible while still capturing those special, and often emotional moments, such as when the bride’s father sees her for the first time, the groom’s face when he sees his love walking down the aisle, and the expressions of friends and family having a good time on the wedding day. When you look through your wedding album, these are all priceless moments to savour again and again.
Wedding Reception at Horetown House
Horetown House exudes a charming vintage vibe throughout. It’s a dream come true, with heavy curtains and plush sofas, coupe champagne glasses, and vintage board games. There are a lot of little details and photo-worthy spots, and we love the wallpaper they chose! Imagine posing in front of that wallpaper with a perfect Horetown House Wexford Wedding Photography. It’s truly magical!
The beautiful drawing room is ideal for the post-ceremony drinks reception. Being asked to photograph a wedding at Horetown House in Wexford is always a pleasure because the grounds provide ample opportunities for beautiful wedding photography. We were asked to take as many pictures of the guests having a good time as possible, as well as a few traditional shots of the bride, groom, and bridal party. When you have everything going for you, who wouldn’t want to be a Horetown House wedding photographer?
Where can you take photographs?
Horetown House is one of the most picturesque wedding venues we’ve seen, with plenty of photo opportunities. They’re both outside and inside in case the weather isn’t cooperating that day. A beautiful green backdrop is created by rolling hills and birch trees. The vintage drawing room with large windows is a stunning location for evening photographs, and the fairy lights are especially lovely. The fact that you don’t have to travel far for wedding photos and can spend more time with your guests is a huge plus for your wedding day. You can take an intimate stroll around the grounds while your guests are having a drink in the drawing room, and all the little nooks and crevices are very close. After everyone has gone into the marquee for dinner, you have the entire house to yourself, and you can take some lovely indoor portraits with a vintage feel. There are plenty of intimate spots for Wedding Photography in Horetown House Wexford where you can avoid your guests and have a bit of privacy before the ceremony if you choose to do a first look.
The Vibe at Horetown House
The best part about Horetown House is that the entire house, including all of its beautiful spaces, will be exclusively yours for your wedding day, giving you and your guests the feeling of being in your own world! Horetown House weddings are distinguished by the wild meadows that surround the venue, the fantastic, locally sourced cuisine, and the ideal blend of laid-back vibes and once-in-a-lifetime luxury that few venues can provide. They personally attend each wedding and have a strict limit on the number of weddings they host each year in order to ensure that you and your guests receive all of the assistance you require.
